Android Japan Continuing my Android Books in Japan post, would like to report additional Android related activities and Groups in Japan.

Android Group Japan website and Google Group are trying to bring together Japanese developers and support each other.

Twitters use the acronymos #agj for Android Related Discussions, and there many of them.

It appears that  Google Android Group is being spammed. Took me by surprise as I expected Google to be able to block such trivial spams.

Google Code Project Hosting Upgraded to Subversion 1.5

We’re pleased to announce that the Subversion component of Google Code Project Hosting has been upgraded to version 1.5. What does this mean to users? If you’re using a Subversion 1.5 client, you can now take advantage of Subversion’s improved “merge tracking” feature to manage branches.

The Android application is coming along nicely, networking works perfectly.
But! As I am migrating a J2ME application, I am having difficulties translating the J2ME design to the Android activities.
